Originally from Charlottesville, Virginia, Marie graduated from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana, where she was hired for her first project.  From there she joined a Charlottesville based firm and continued working in decoration.  While working on a project in New York, Marie realized she wanted to further her education in Interior Design and chose to broaden it with an international touch by attending the Intercontinental University in London. Upon graduation Marie began working for herself, and traveled between the two continents.  But it was her collaboration with Patricia Darch Interiors in Spain and Gibraltar that had her captivated by the modern design movement. Marie relocated to Gibraltar and continued to work alongside Patricia, traveling to London, Paris and Milan, amongst other inspiring design hubs. After 10 years abroad, Marie has come back home to Charlottesville where she continues her work, and raises her family.
